# AWeber

Use AWeber's complete stable v1 API to manage accounts, lists, subscribers, custom fields, purchases, broadcasts and schedules, campaigns, integrations, landing pages, web forms, and engagement analytics

- **Category:** marketing automation
- **Auth:** OAUTH2
- **Composio-managed OAuth available?** No
- **Tools:** 32
- **Triggers:** 0
- **Slug:** `AWEBER`
- **Version:** 00000000_00

## Tools

### Add Subscriber

**Slug:** `AWEBER_ADD_SUBSCRIBER`

Add one consented subscriber to an AWeber list. This is not a bulk-import endpoint; AWeber considers bulk use abuse and directs large imports to its list importer. Adding a subscriber can start autoresponder follow-ups, and supplied tags can trigger Campaign automation. Review list permission and consent before calling. This tool is create-only and does not update an existing subscriber; use an explicit update tool for existing records. HTTP 201 confirms creation, not message delivery.

#### Input Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
|-----------|------|----------|-------------|
| `name` | string | No | Subscriber name. |
| `tags` | array | No | Tags to apply. Tags can immediately trigger AWeber Campaign automation and message sequences. |
| `email` | string | Yes | Subscriber email address. Add only a person who consented to receive this list's email. |
| `list_id` | integer | Yes | Numeric list ID to which the subscriber consented to subscribe. |
| `account_id` | integer | Yes | Numeric AWeber account ID. |
| `ip_address` | string | No | Public IPv4 address observed when the subscriber consented. Supply the real subscriber IP only; do not infer or fabricate it. AWeber accepts it only on initial creation and uses it to derive geographic fields. |
| `misc_notes` | string | No | Customer notes about this subscriber; may contain sensitive personal data. |
| `ad_tracking` | string | No | Customer-defined advertising attribution value. |
| `custom_fields` | object | No | Values for custom fields that already exist on this list. |
| `strict_custom_fields` | boolean | No | When true, match custom-field names case-sensitively and fail if any supplied field is not defined on the list. |
| `last_followup_message_number_sent` | integer | No | Destination follow-up position. Omitted or 0 means the first autoresponder follow-up may be sent; 1001 prevents further follow-up messages. |
| `confirm_consent_and_possible_automation` | boolean | Yes | Must be true to confirm current subscriber consent and acknowledge that adding the subscriber can start autoresponder or tag-triggered email automation. |

#### Output

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
|-----------|------|----------|-------------|
| `data` | string | Yes | Data from the action execution |
| `error` | string | No | Error if any occurred during the execution of the action |
| `successful` | boolean | Yes | Whether or not the action execution was successful or not |

### Cancel Broadcast Schedule

**Slug:** `AWEBER_CANCEL_BROADCAST_SCHEDULE`

Cancel an AWeber broadcast's existing delivery schedule. This stops the scheduled delivery request and requires explicit confirmation. A 200 response confirms that AWeber accepted the cancellation.

#### Input Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
|-----------|------|----------|-------------|
| `list_id` | integer | Yes | Numeric list ID containing the broadcast. |
| `account_id` | integer | Yes | Numeric AWeber account ID. |
| `broadcast_id` | integer | Yes | Numeric broadcast ID whose existing schedule should be canceled. |
| `confirm_cancel_schedule` | boolean | Yes | Must be true to confirm cancellation of the customer-visible delivery schedule. |

### Create Broadcast Draft

**Slug:** `AWEBER_CREATE_BROADCAST_DRAFT`

Create an API-managed AWeber broadcast draft for later review or editing. This action does not schedule or send email. The response describes the saved draft; treat status='draft' and a returned broadcast_id or self_link as creation confirmation, not as delivery confirmation. Only API-created drafts are eligible for the companion update and delete actions, and the form-encoded request must remain within AWeber's 1,000,000-byte limit.

#### Input Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
|-----------|------|----------|-------------|
| `list_id` | integer | Yes | Numeric list ID that owns the draft. |
| `subject` | string | Yes | Broadcast subject line of 1-120 characters; whitespace-only subjects are rejected. |
| `body_amp` | string | No | Optional AMP message body. Use only valid AMP for Email markup. |
| `body_html` | string | No | Optional HTML message body; provide this or body_text. If body_text is omitted, AWeber generates plain text from this HTML. |
| `body_text` | string | No | Optional plain-text message body; provide this or body_html. If body_html is omitted, a future send is text-only. |
| `account_id` | integer | Yes | Numeric AWeber account ID. |
| `segment_id` | integer | No | Optional numeric segment ID to target. Omit to use AWeber's Active Subscribers segment. This only configures the draft and does not send it. |
| `is_archived` | boolean | No | Whether a future send may be shared through an archive URL. Defaults to false instead of AWeber's true default. |
| `notify_on_send` | boolean | No | Whether AWeber should notify the account after statistics become available for a future send. Defaults to false instead of AWeber's true default. |
| `exclude_list_ids` | array | No | Optional positive numeric list IDs to exclude from delivery. |
| `include_list_ids` | array | No | Optional positive numeric list IDs to include in delivery in addition to the owning list. |
| `click_tracking_enabled` | boolean | No | Whether links in a future send should be tracked. Defaults to false instead of AWeber's true default. |
| `twitter_integration_id` | integer | No | Optional positive numeric AWeber Twitter integration ID; a later send tweets the broadcast subject. This draft action does not send. |
| `facebook_integration_id` | integer | No | Optional positive numeric AWeber Facebook integration ID; a later send posts the broadcast subject to Facebook. This draft action does not send. |

### Create Custom Field

**Slug:** `AWEBER_CREATE_CUSTOM_FIELD`

Create a named custom subscriber field on one AWeber mailing list. AWeber returns no JSON body; the response exposes its Location header and parsed field ID when available. Otherwise use AWEBER_LIST_CUSTOM_FIELDS to discover it.

#### Input Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
|-----------|------|----------|-------------|
| `name` | string | Yes | Non-empty name for the new custom subscriber field. |
| `list_id` | integer | Yes | Numeric list ID on which to create the custom field. |
| `account_id` | integer | Yes | Numeric AWeber account ID. |

### Delete Broadcast Draft

**Slug:** `AWEBER_DELETE_BROADCAST_DRAFT`

Permanently delete one unsent broadcast draft created through the AWeber API. This irreversible operation cannot be undone. It does not send email, and scheduled or sent broadcasts are not eligible for deletion.

#### Input Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
|-----------|------|----------|-------------|
| `list_id` | integer | Yes | Numeric mailing list ID that contains the API-created draft. |
| `account_id` | integer | Yes | Numeric AWeber account ID that owns the mailing list. |

| `error` | string | No | Error if any occurred during the execution of the action |
| `successful` | boolean | Yes | Whether or not the action execution was successful or not |

### Delete Custom Field

**Slug:** `AWEBER_DELETE_CUSTOM_FIELD`

Permanently delete one custom field definition at the exact AWeber path identified by account_id, list_id, and custom_field_id. This irreversible operation removes the field from the list; do not use it as proof that historical subscriber data was erased. Use only when the field is no longer needed.

#### Input Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
|-----------|------|----------|-------------|
| `list_id` | integer | Yes | Numeric mailing list ID that contains the custom field. |
| `account_id` | integer | Yes | Numeric AWeber account ID that owns the mailing list. |

| `error` | string | No | Error if any occurred during the execution of the action |
| `successful` | boolean | Yes | Whether or not the action execution was successful or not |

### Delete Subscriber

**Slug:** `AWEBER_DELETE_SUBSCRIBER`

Permanently delete one AWeber subscriber by current email or numeric ID. Obtain explicit user confirmation before calling and set confirm_permanent_deletion=true. This unsubscribes the person and permanently removes related analytics/activity; click/open references become 'Deleted Subscriber'. For a non-destructive opt-out that retains analytics, use AWEBER_UPDATE_SUBSCRIBER_CONSENT_AND_AUTOMATION with status='unsubscribed' and its required confirmation instead.

#### Input Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
|-----------|------|----------|-------------|
| `list_id` | integer | Yes | Numeric list ID containing the subscriber. |
| `account_id` | integer | Yes | Numeric AWeber account ID. |
| `subscriber_id` | integer | No | Numeric subscriber ID used to select the subscriber. Provide this or subscriber_email, not both. |
| `subscriber_email` | string | No | Current email used to select the subscriber. Provide this or subscriber_id, not both. |
| `confirm_permanent_deletion` | boolean | Yes | Must be true after explicit user confirmation. Deletion unsubscribes the person, permanently removes related analytics/activity, and changes click/open references to 'Deleted Subscriber'. This value is never sent to AWeber. |

### Get Broadcast

**Slug:** `AWEBER_GET_BROADCAST`

| `list_id` | integer | Yes | Numeric list ID containing the broadcast. |
| `account_id` | integer | Yes | Numeric AWeber account ID. |

### List Web Form Split Tests

**Slug:** `AWEBER_LIST_WEB_FORM_SPLIT_TESTS`

List one page of web form split tests across an account or for one mailing list, or retrieve one split test when list_id and split_test_id are both provided; split_test_id cannot be used without list_id. Use next_cursor to continue a collection listing.

#### Input Parameters

### Move Subscriber

**Slug:** `AWEBER_MOVE_SUBSCRIBER`

Move a currently subscribed person between two lists owned by the same AWeber account. AWeber unsubscribes the source membership and subscribes the destination membership without sending a verification message. By default the destination starts at the first follow-up, which can cause autoresponder delivery; use 1001 to suppress further follow-ups. Custom-field mappings may differ between lists, and the operation has no documented idempotency guarantee.

#### Input Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
|-----------|------|----------|-------------|
| `account_id` | integer | Yes | Numeric AWeber account ID. |
| `subscriber_id` | integer | Yes | Numeric subscriber ID on the source list. |
| `source_list_id` | integer | Yes | Numeric source list ID. The subscriber must currently have status subscribed on this list. |
| `destination_list_id` | integer | Yes | Numeric destination list ID owned by the same AWeber account as the source list. |
| `enforce_custom_field_mapping` | boolean | No | When true, fail unless source custom fields match destination fields case-insensitively; use this to avoid silently losing mismatched values. |
| `last_followup_message_number_sent` | integer | No | Destination follow-up position. Omitted or 0 starts at the beginning, so the first autoresponder follow-up may be sent; 1001 prevents further follow-up messages. |
| `confirm_membership_move_and_possible_delivery` | boolean | Yes | Must be true to confirm source unsubscribe, destination subscribe, and possible destination follow-up delivery. |

### Record Subscriber Tracked Event

**Slug:** `AWEBER_RECORD_SUBSCRIBER_TRACKED_EVENT`

Record one AWeber purchase/pageview tracked event and create the consented subscriber if absent or update the subscriber if present. The purchase, subscriber changes, or supplied tags can trigger automation. One call consumes three AWeber API requests toward the 120-per-minute account limit, and no idempotency key is documented, so do not retry blindly. HTTP 202 only means accepted for asynchronous processing; it does not prove completion.

#### Input Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
|-----------|------|----------|-------------|
| `url` | string | Yes | HTTP(S) URL for the page or tracked event. |
| `name` | string | No | Optional subscriber name. |
| `tags` | array | No | Optional subscriber tags; tags and the purchase event can trigger AWeber automation. |
| `email` | string | Yes | Subscriber email tied to the purchase; AWeber creates or updates this subscriber. Only create subscription state for a person with valid consent. |
| `value` | number | Yes | Monetary value associated with the tracked event. |
| `vendor` | string | Yes | Sales-tracking vendor or profile name. |
| `list_id` | integer | Yes | Numeric list ID on which to record the purchase and upsert the subscriber. |

| `account_id` | integer | Yes | Numeric AWeber account ID. |
| `event_note` | string | Yes | Custom note associated with this specific tracked event. |
| `event_time` | string | Yes | Timestamp when the event occurred. AWeber documents values such as 2015-07-31 11:36:34-04:00. |
| `ip_address` | string | Yes | Real public IPv4 address associated with the tracked event; do not infer or fabricate it. |
| `misc_notes` | string | No | Optional subscriber notes; may contain sensitive personal data. |
| `ad_tracking` | string | No | Optional advertising-attribution value for the subscriber. |
| `product_name` | string | Yes | Product or tracked-page description. |
| `custom_fields` | object | No | Optional subscriber custom-field values; fields must already exist on the list. When this updates an existing subscriber, treat the map as a complete replacement and include every current field/value because omitted fields can become null. |
| `confirm_consent_upsert_and_possible_automation` | boolean | Yes | Must be true to confirm valid subscriber consent, subscriber create/update effects, tracked-event recording, and possible automation. |

### Schedule Broadcast

**Slug:** `AWEBER_SCHEDULE_BROADCAST`

Schedule an AWeber broadcast for audience email delivery at a future time. This is consequential and requires explicit confirmation because delivery can begin once the scheduled time arrives. A 200 response confirms acceptance, not eventual delivery.

#### Input Parameters

|-----------|------|----------|-------------|
| `list_id` | integer | Yes | Numeric list ID containing the broadcast. |
| `account_id` | integer | Yes | Numeric AWeber account ID. |

### Search Subscribers

**Slug:** `AWEBER_SEARCH_SUBSCRIBERS`

Search exact subscriber attributes across an account or within one AWeber mailing list, or return all subscribers in a list when no filters are supplied. Use next_cursor for additional pages, or set show_total_size_only=total_size for a count-only response. Results contain sensitive personal data, including email addresses, names, custom fields, and lifecycle status; use them only for the requested task and do not add them to logs.

### Update Broadcast Draft

**Slug:** `AWEBER_UPDATE_BROADCAST_DRAFT`

Safely update one or more fields on an API-created AWeber broadcast draft. The tool first reads the draft and preserves omitted targeting, integration, list, content, tracking, archive, and notification settings before replacing its details. It can replace list, segment, social integration, and AMP settings; empty include/exclude list arrays clear those list settings. Supplying HTML without text asks AWeber to generate text; supplying text without HTML makes the message text-only. This tool cannot update scheduled, sending, or sent broadcasts and does not schedule or send email.

#### Input Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
|-----------|------|----------|-------------|
| `list_id` | integer | Yes | Numeric list ID containing the API-created draft. |
| `subject` | string | No | Replacement subject line of 1-120 characters; it must contain a non-whitespace character. |
| `body_amp` | string | No | Replacement AMP body. Pass an empty string to clear existing AMP content. |
| `body_html` | string | No | Replacement HTML body. Supply body_text with it to prevent AWeber from auto-generating and overwriting the plain-text body. |
| `body_text` | string | No | Replacement plain-text body. Supply body_html with it so both message representations are replaced explicitly. |
| `account_id` | integer | Yes | Numeric AWeber account ID. |
| `segment_id` | integer | No | Replacement numeric segment ID. To restore Active Subscribers targeting, pass that segment's ID from AWEBER_LIST_SEGMENTS. This does not send email. |
| `is_archived` | boolean | No | Replacement setting for sharing a future sent broadcast through an archive URL. |
| `broadcast_id` | integer | Yes | Numeric ID of an API-created draft; scheduled, sending, or sent broadcasts cannot be updated with this tool. |
| `notify_on_send` | boolean | No | Replacement setting for notifying the account when statistics become available after a future send. |
| `exclude_list_ids` | array | No | Replacement positive numeric list IDs to exclude; pass an empty list to clear exclusions. |
| `include_list_ids` | array | No | Replacement positive numeric list IDs to include; pass an empty list to clear additional included lists. |
| `click_tracking_enabled` | boolean | No | Replacement setting for tracking links in a future send. |
| `twitter_integration_id` | integer | No | Replacement Twitter integration ID; a later send tweets the subject. This draft action does not send. |
| `facebook_integration_id` | integer | No | Replacement Facebook integration ID; a later send posts the subject to Facebook. This draft action does not send. |

### Update Custom Field

**Slug:** `AWEBER_UPDATE_CUSTOM_FIELD`

Rename an AWeber custom subscriber field or change whether subscribers may update it. Renaming a populated field can make existing values semantically incorrect and break personalization or segments because AWeber stores values by field number. At least one mutable setting must be provided.

#### Input Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
|-----------|------|----------|-------------|
| `name` | string | No | Optional new non-empty name for the custom field. |
| `list_id` | integer | Yes | Numeric AWeber list ID containing the custom field. |
| `account_id` | integer | Yes | Numeric AWeber account ID. |
| `custom_field_id` | integer | Yes | Numeric custom field ID returned by AWEBER_LIST_CUSTOM_FIELDS. |
| `is_subscriber_updateable` | boolean | No | Optional setting controlling whether subscribers may update this field. |

### Update Subscriber

**Slug:** `AWEBER_UPDATE_SUBSCRIBER`

Update reversible profile fields for one AWeber subscriber selected by current email or numeric ID. This tool cannot change consent status, autoresponder position, or tags; use UPDATE_SUBSCRIBER_CONSENT_AND_AUTOMATION for those consequential changes. For custom_fields, the tool reads and merges current values before sending AWeber's complete replacement map, preserving omitted fields. AWeber's documented success status is HTTP 209.

#### Input Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
|-----------|------|----------|-------------|
| `name` | string | No | Replacement subscriber name. |
| `list_id` | integer | Yes | Numeric list ID containing the subscriber. |
| `new_email` | string | No | Replacement subscriber email. This changes the address; subscriber_email only selects the record. |
| `account_id` | integer | Yes | Numeric AWeber account ID. |
| `misc_notes` | string | No | Replacement customer notes; may contain sensitive personal data. |
| `ad_tracking` | string | No | Replacement advertising-attribution value. |
| `custom_fields` | object | No | Custom-field values to change. The tool reads the current subscriber and merges these values before sending AWeber's required complete replacement map, preserving other existing fields. Only values, not field definitions, can be changed. |
| `subscriber_id` | integer | No | Numeric subscriber ID used to select the subscriber. Provide this or subscriber_email, not both. |
| `subscriber_email` | string | No | Current email used to select the subscriber. Provide this or subscriber_id, not both. |
| `strict_custom_fields` | boolean | No | When true, match custom-field names case-sensitively and fail on fields not defined for the list. |

### Update Subscriber Consent and Automation

**Slug:** `AWEBER_UPDATE_SUBSCRIBER_CONSENT_AND_AUTOMATION`

Change one AWeber subscriber's consent status, autoresponder position, or Campaign tags. These changes can resubscribe a person or cause automated email delivery, so explicit confirmation is required. Use UPDATE_SUBSCRIBER for profile-only edits. AWeber's documented success status is HTTP 209.

#### Input Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
|-----------|------|----------|-------------|
| `tags` | object | No | Tag additions/removals that can start, stop, or redirect Campaign automation. |
| `status` | string ("subscribed" | "unsubscribed") | No | Set consent state. Resubscribe only with current valid consent; use unsubscribed instead of deletion when historical analytics should remain. |

| `confirm_consent_or_automation_change` | boolean | Yes | Must be true to confirm that the requested consent, follow-up, or tag change can alter subscription state or cause automated email delivery. |
