## Python SDK 0.25.0 and TypeScript SDK 0.22.0 align Instant Sessions

Use Instant account selection and charge details in both SDKs, with Session-aware provider helpers and connection fixes.

Both SDKs now use the Instant Session and account contracts. Tool execution and usage responses expose exact Instant charges, and provider helpers can execute tools through a supplied Tool Router Session.

### Release versions [#release-versions]

| SDK | Version |
| --------------------------- | -------- |
| Python `composio` | `0.25.0` |
| TypeScript `@composio/core` | `0.22.0` |
| TypeScript `@composio/slim` | `0.22.0` |

### Instant Sessions and charges [#instant-sessions-and-charges]

* Configure Instant access with `instant` and request execution charge details with `instant.returnInstantCharge` in TypeScript or `instant.return_instant_charge` in Python. The former `premium_usage` and `return_premium_charge` names are replaced by the Instant contract.
* Read `instantCharge` in TypeScript or `instant_charge` in Python from Session execution results. Project usage summaries expose the exact USD amount as a string; charged tool logs include `metadata.instant_charge`.
* Select an Instant account with `instant_account` in the Session API contract. Session search results describe available Instant tools through `instantAccount` in TypeScript or `instant_account` in Python.

### Provider helpers and fixes [#provider-helpers-and-fixes]

* Google, Cloudflare, and OpenAI Responses helpers in TypeScript, and the Google Gemini helper in Python, accept a Tool Router Session for execution. Existing user ID calls continue to use direct execution.
* TypeScript `ConnectionRequest.status` now follows the result of `waitForConnection()`, and telemetry records calls to `waitForConnection()`.
* The OpenAI provider no longer includes Assistants API helpers. Move Assistants integrations to the Responses API and `OpenAIResponsesProvider` from `@composio/openai`.

## Don't store data is now Zero Data Retention

The project setting that stopped payload storage is now Zero Data Retention, an organization add-on in Billing. Every project kept its setting.

The **Don't store data** option under **Log storage** is now **Zero Data Retention** (ZDR). You manage it as an organization add-on in **Organization Settings > Billing > Add-ons**. Every project kept its setting, so projects that had **Don't store data** on now show ZDR on.

### What's new [#whats-new]

* An organization admin can turn on ZDR for all projects at once. Admins can also turn it on or off for one project in **Project Settings > General**.
* ZDR is available on paid plans for a usage-based price and included on Enterprise, where new projects start with ZDR on. Hobby plan projects that already had **Don't store data** keep ZDR on until an admin turns it off.
* The [Zero Data Retention](/docs/security/zero-data-retention) page lists what ZDR covers, what it does not cover, and what Composio still stores.
